Brief Introduction:

This bbs was initially built by cash, xing, lanyi and et al., with Discuz! 2.5 forum system, in July 2004 (www.csssosu.com). CSSS@OSU took control of the bbs, lately in May 2006, and reconstructed the bbs with cnphpbb (bbs.csssosu.com/bbs) while keeping a link to the old bbs (bbs.csssosu.com/oldbbs). Unfortunately, the maintenance to then bbs turned out to a problem, and the bbs was occupied by spam starting from Jan 2007. As a result, most of the posts were removed from the system as a cost of removing spams in Apr 2007. In order to keep the promise to the voters during the reelection of 2007-2008 committee, CSSS@OSU reconciled the bbs system by importing the old posts from the old bbs, and moved the system to another hosting service company for better access speed, as well as changing the domain name to be more suitable for a non-profit organization (bbs.csssosu.org). We hope the new system can better serve the needs of our community, and help to make our mailing list more useful to the community by branching off the sale and housing posts. Below is the email to the community regarding the reopening of our new bbs.

At May 2009, bbs.csssosu.org starts being shared by CSSS and UCSO. Hope this bbs can better serve the needs of all buckeyes!
