俄亥俄州立大学中国学生学者联合会（Chinese Students and Scholars Society at the OSU） 致中国新学生、学者的欢迎信

亲爱的新同学、学者：

欢迎你们来到俄亥俄州立大学，来到哥伦布市（简称：哥城）。

俄亥俄州立大学是美国橄榄球牛校，同时这里的华人学生学者的数量也在全美独占鳌头。俄亥俄州立大学中国学生学者联合会（Chinese Students and Scholars Society at the OSU简称CSSS）是为了服务广大的中国学生学者而成立的。经过多年的发展，现在的CSSS的会员已经拥有800多人，是哥城最大的华人组织。近年来，CSSS为丰富华人的文化生活，积极增进与当地社团、其他学生组织的交流与合作，开展了各种丰富多彩的活动：包括组织迎接晚会、中秋联欢晚会、春节联欢晚会、卡拉OK大奖赛、乒乓球大赛、篮球赛、羽毛球赛，以及美容、理财、移民、交通安全等各种讲座。所有在本校学习和工作的中国学生学者都可自动成为我们的会员。新来的学生学者可以发E-mail 给我们的csss@osu.edu （题目注明：CSSS Subscribe to Mailing List ） 加入我们的名单，这样你就可以收到CSSS 的各种信息 。如果你想发信到mailing list上，可以发信给csss@osu.edu，我们会帮你转发。 同时，我们开通了自己的论坛 bbs.csssosu.org，大家可以通过论坛认识新朋友、获得各种信息。

对于新生普遍关心的接机和住宿的问题，我们给大家提供如下建议：

Dear new OSU Chinese students and scholars,

First, we want to express our most sincere congratulations to you! Welcome to OSU!

CSSS is a student organization aiming to serve all Chinese students and scholars at the Ohio State University. We want to let you know that whenever you confront problems or trouble, there is help you will find through CSSS. We can't promise to solve all of them, but we will surely do our best. This is a big yet very supportive community.
